About Me

Michael Farinha

Michael FarinhaI am currently a graduating senior at Sacramento State University majoring in Business with a concentration in Management Information Systems/Science (MIS).

I own a little home in Sacramento but plan to move to a bit nicer area once I graduate and start my career.

I have a wonderful and beautiful fiancee, Christi, who lives with me. She works as a special education teacher for children (0-3y) in Placer county.

I am of the Catholic faith and consider myself to be more conservative than Republican. However, I do generally tend to vote Republican.

I like to think of myself as open minded to other points of view but rarely change my mind. I know that’s not quite the cornerstone of being open minded but I need to be persuaded with facts, logic and emotion before I will change my mind. It seems that facts and emotion tend to be in great supply when people spout out their views, but logic is usually what is missing from most arguments/point of views. Facts generally seem to be cherry picked (on most sides of an issue) and emotion is usually too entrenched in passion. Logic tempers both.

Sorry, none of the books in the Head First series come in a pdf format. Not that I’d send it to you anyways, the books are cheap at Amazon.com.

    Hi Michael!
It’s your cousin Melissa (wave). Just sitting up late and googled my Dad’s name and your blog popped up. Well look who I found! I am definitely coming to the wedding. Wouldn’t miss it. Still have to officially RSVP.
